The Passion Of Augustine

Located in the small convent of the rural school Quebec (60s), Mother Augustine offers music education to the young women of the population. With her talent, she teaches her pupils waltzes of Chopin or Bach, although there is also a place for prayers. When she cares for her niece Alice, Mother Augustine will discover that she has an incredible musical talent, especially with the piano. In addition to all this, the Government of Québec is facing new changes in the education system, something that will endanger the small school. Léa Pool, the French director known for some other titles like 'El último suspiro' (2001) or 'Emporte-moi' (1999), writes and co-directs with Marie Vien the film.
