'The Price of Success' is the second film of the director Teddy Lussi-Modeste with the producer Rebecca Zlotwski, after 'Jimmy Rivière'. Why a Maghred family?
The director choose a Maghred muslim family mainly because realism: ?the examples more recently of rejection in sport, music or cinema concern mostly arabs and muslim population. Think about Zidane, Omar Sy, Maestro Gims, Amel Bent, Kendji, Booba, Leila Bekhti, Gignac, Matuidi... We could cite even more names and all of them belong to a modest family.?
Plot
The plot has a clear line: how a young man who belongs to a outlying neighborhood becomes famous. He struggles against the pressure exerted by his family and get away from them.

The cast members
The choice of the main character was difficult until they found Tahar Rahim. Once the director found his hero, Roschdy Zem y Maïwenn appeared soon. The director Lussi-Modeste thanks the work of Philippe Elkoubi on the selection process.
