'The Salvation' trivia and fun facts

Eva Green, Mads Mikkelsen also had roles in the films of James Bond. In this case, he acted as Bond girl and another as Bond villain, respectively, in 'Casino Royale' (2006).

Mads Mikkelsen (Jon) and Jonathan Pryce (Keane) both performed two of the main villains in James Bond 007. Mikkelsen as Le Chiffre in Casino Royale (2006) and Pryce as Elliot Carver in 'Tomorrow Never Dies' (1997).

The film set was built from scratch in South Africa. One of the recreated city was burned shortly after finishing the shooting.
