The Shrinking Man

The story follows a common man living a quiet life, divided between his job at a shipbuilding company and taking care of his family. Everything seems routine until, during a sea trip, a strange and inexplicable meteorological phenomenon radically alters his existence. After this event, he begins to experience a process of progressive and irreversible shrinking that science cannot explain. What initially seems like a minor change quickly becomes a monumental challenge: with each passing day, the world around him grows larger and more dangerous, and everyday objects, previously harmless, turn into potential threats.

Soon, the protagonist finds himself trapped in his own basement, measuring barely a few centimeters in height. What was once a safe and familiar space now becomes a hostile territory filled with deadly obstacles, from everyday furniture to the presence of his own cat, which transforms into a gigantic predator. His struggle for survival forces him to rediscover skills he never imagined he would need and to confront his vulnerability in a direct and desperate manner. Every step and every decision involves risks that test his ingenuity, resilience, and adaptability.

Adaptation of the famous novel The Shrinking Man by Richard Matheson, this story combines science fiction, psychological tension, and a deep reflection on human fragility and the relationship between man and his environment.
