They Will Be Dust

Violeta (Mònica Almirall) is a mother who lives her life calmly with her children. However, her life turns upside down when her mother, Claudia (Ángela Molina), is diagnosed with a brain tumor that, given its advanced development, cannot be cured. This is why Violeta brings her entire family together for a meal to announce Claudia's final decision: to end with her life.

However, the real surprise lies in Flavio (Alfredo Castro), her partner, who fervently wants to end his life as well, since his greatest wish is to end his journey with the person he has been with for more than forty years. Although the family does not like the decision, Violeta and the couple travel to Switzerland to attend a voluntary assisted death association. They appear happy and optimistic along the way, while their daughter tries to make them both reconsider their idea and look for a less radical solution.

The filmmaker Carlos Marques-Marcet signs his new work, 'They Will Be Dust', and writes the script together with Coral Cruz and Clara Roquet. The film's cast is completed by names such as Manuela Biedermann, Lissy Pernthaler, Patrícia Bargalló, Alván Prado, Valeria Scheilen, Emma Corbacho, Mont Plans, Oriol Genís and Rober Gómez, among many others.
