Things to Come

Although the film is based in 1940, to the time when it was released it was the future. The film begins on the day declaring what would be the hypothetical start of the 2nd World War (which in reality was declared one year earlier than predicted the film). This time, the war will not last 6 years like in reality, war lasts more than 25 years, and leaves the world totally devastated and reduced to more than half population. In this post-apocalyptic future anarchy, which will result in a brutal dictatorship. However, John Cabal, is an airman who is still dreaming of a better future, and will do its utmost to achieve it. Film based on a novel by H.G Wells, he wrote the script himself.
