'This Nan's Life' brings the iconic potty-mouthed grandma first introduced in the BBC series 'The Catherine Tate Show' (2004-2006) to the big screen.

This comedy film delves into the history of everyone's favourite inappropriate nan (also known as Joannie Taylor), exploring how her younger years shaped her into the outspoken woman that she is today.

'The Catherine Tate Show' was nominated for six BAFTA awards, an Emmy Award and two British Comedy Awards during its two year run, and inspired several spin-offs featuring or based on Tate's Nan character.

'This Nan's Life' is written by Catherine Tate ('Doctor Who', 'Duck Tales', 'Starter for 10') and Brett Goldstein ('Bullet to the Heart', 'SuperBob', 'Ronna & Beverly') and is directed by Josie Rourke. ('Mary, Queen of Scots'). Joining the cast are Mathew Horne ('Gavin & Stacey', 'Agatha Raisin', 'Bad Education'), Katherine Parkinson ('Defending the Guilty', 'Humans', 'The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society'), Jack Doolan ('Marcella', 'White Gold', 'The Green Green Grass'), Craig Grainger ('Invoked', 'Staccato', 'Wifey Redux'), Tom Laubscher ('Ellie', 'The Desk', 'Next Door') and Ruchika Jain ('Quickie', 'Humming Bird', 'The Sacrifice').

'This Nan's Life' is currently set for a June 2020 release in the UK.
