Ticket to Paradise

George Clooney and Julia Roberts team up in this new romantic comedy as two parents trying to stop their daughter from making the same mistake they did: getting married. The divorced couple is unexpectedly reunited and, despite past quarrels arising from the fruit of a failed marriage, they decide to join forces to scuttle their daughter's wedding plans. To do this, travel to Bali, but things will not go according to plan. In that paradisiacal place they will rethink a relationship that began 25 years ago.

The film, which is produced by Working Title, Smokehouse Pictures and Red One Films, is a romantic comedy about the sweet surprises second chances can bring. Directed by Ol Parker, the rest of the cast includes Kaitlyn Dever, Billie Lourd, Lucas Bravo, Senayt Mebrahtu, Talha ?entürk, Maxime Bouttier, Leo Castro, Murran Kain, Sean Lynch, Isaac Priest, Romy Poulier, Vanesa Everett and Cintya Dharmayanti.

'Journey to Paradise' was shot in Queensland, Australia, with the help of incentives provided by the Australian federal government and the state of Queensland's "Strategy for Production" programme. The script, together with the director himself, is signed by Daniel Pipski. The one in charge of distributing it in Spain is Universal Pictures.
