Plot
Rosario is a mature woman who sell fig tree salt to the old people because they are the ones that knows the ancient uses of it... besides this, she sells it to the youths too, mixing it with relaxing medicines and ingredients. She lives with his son with disabilities, Ofelio, his donkey and goat. Everything happens in a small village from Castilla-la Mancha, which is in debt due to the gambling problems of the citizens and his governors, what causes the sale of the village. Resigning everyone to the sale of the village, Rosario won't agree to accept this situation given that his house and lagoon is in the centre of the town.
