Tom and Jerry's second movie
Not counting the short films, this is Tom and Jerry's second film, after 'Tom and Jerry: The Movie' (1992), as well as the first to be live and animated action.
Many candidates
Zoey Deutch, Olivia Cooke, Yara Shahidi, Kelly Marie Tran, Becky G and Isabela Merced were some of the candidates to play the lead role, Kayla. Chloë Grace Moretz was finally chosen.
Second animated movie
