Totally Killer

'Totally Killer' is an American terror comedy directed by Nahnatchka Khan and produced by Jason Blum under his Blumhouse Television company. It's a teen slasher movie who also mixes the genre with time travel and it stars Kiernan Shipka, Olivia Holt and Julie Bowen. Prime Video released it worldwide in October 2023.

The Action is set in the small town of Vernon, where in 1987 three young teenagers where brutally murdered on the day of their 16th birthday after being stabbed sixteen times. The fourth friend of the group, Pam Miller, wasn't attacked but has been preparing for it since then.

Now Pam is a married woman with a teenage daughter herself, Jamie, who has to bear with an overprotecting mother. However, when Jamie is at a concert with her best friend Amelia, the killer reappears at her home and attacks her mother to death.

Depressed by the situation, Jamie focuses on school, where Amelia is working on a time travel machine for a school project. Attacked one night by the killer, she accidentally ends up traveling back in time to 1987. She thinks that if she is capable of stopping the deaths she will be able to alter the future and keep her mother alive. However, in the past she discovers the truth about the three murdered women and why they were hated by everybody.
