Plot
Throughout the ages, men have waged war. Some for power, others for glory or honor - and some for love. In ancient Greece, the passion of two of the most legendary lovers in history, Paris, prince of Troy, and Helen, queen of Sparta, unleashes a war that will devastate a civilization. The abduction of Helen from her husband, King Menelaus, by Paris is an insult that cannot be tolerated.
Family pride dictates that an affront to Menelaus is an affront to his brother Agamemnon, the powerful king of Mycenae, who quickly gathers all the great tribes of Greece to retrieve Helen from the hands of the Trojans and defend his brother's honor. The truth is that Agamemnon's struggle for honor is corrupted by his insatiable greed - he needs control of Troy to ensure the supremacy of his already vast empire.
The walled city, under the command of King Priam and defended by the mighty prince Hector, is a fortress that no army has been able to penetrate. Only one man stands as the key to the victory or defeat of Troy - Achilles, considered the greatest living warrior. Arrogant, rebellious, and seemingly invincible, Achilles feels loyalty to no one and nothing, except for his own glory.
It is his insatiable thirst for eternal fame that leads him to attack the gates of Troy under Agamemnon's banner - but it will be love that ultimately decides his fate. Two worlds will go to war for honor and power. Thousands of men will die in their struggle for glory. And, for love, a nation will be reduced to ashes.
