Two-to-One

In the summer of 1990, as Germany undergoes a seismic transformation following the fall of the Berlin Wall and moves steadily toward reunification, an East German family stumbles upon millions of East German marks hidden deep underground in a forgotten storage bunker. With the currency on the verge of becoming obsolete and losing all value against the Western deutsche mark, they launch a frantic, time-sensitive mission to convert it into something useful, taking advantage of legal loopholes, systemic contradictions, and the institutional chaos of the era.

What begins as a seemingly innocent operation quickly escalates into a high-stakes venture that challenges their ingenuity, tests their loyalties, and forces them to navigate the clash between two colliding systems.
