Un lío de millones

In a picturesque village in the Sierra de Madrid, Bego and Agustín enjoy a quiet retirement, dedicated to cooking, tending to their garden, hairstyling, and playing card games with friends. However, since their children left the family home to settle in the city, the couple has begun to feel the effects of empty nest syndrome. With sadness, they notice how their children seem to have distanced themselves, something that is confirmed when they do not show up for the meal that Bego had prepared to celebrate one of their birthdays. To make matters worse, they announce that they will not be spending Christmas at home, which leads Bego and Agustín to devise a bold plan: they will make everyone believe that they have won the lottery and become millionaires.

'A Mess of Millions,' directed by Susan Béjar, features prominent figures in the cast such as Antonio Resines, Gracia Olayo, Alberto Olmo, Itzan Escamilla, Lucía Caraballo, Raúl Cimas, and Clara Lago.

It is based on the French film 'Mes Très Chers Enfants,' by Alexandra Leclère, and its script has been adapted by Susan Béjar and Ángela Armero.

The film is a joint production of Mis hijos valen oro AIE and Tornasol Media, in collaboration with Sony Pictures Entertainment Iberia, and is supported by RTVE and Movistar Plus+.
