Under the Shadow

This horror movie is the directional debut of Iranian Babak Anvari. The story follows a mother and her daughter in the 80's. They live in Teheran and, everyday, the fear to the consequences of the islamic terror grows stronger. Even though her husband tells them to leave the city, Shideh decides to stay there. Dorsa, her daughter, loses her doll after a misil strikes the building where they live and kills one of the neighbors. The girl´s behaviour gets worse with time. The owner´s wife warns Shideh that a presence might be attached to the family. The building soon gets empty. Now, mother and daughter will have to face this terrible threat alone before it is too late for them.
