Unfinished Business

José and Elena were partners during his youth, however, fate made their relationship not go ahead. Years later, in Spain in the late 1970s, José works as a lawyer, is married and is a father. Elena is also a mother and she is married too. One day, José meets Elena in the heart of Madrid, which will make them both stay again, catch up with each other and remember old times. This will cause the relationship between Jose and Elena to surface again, which will lead them to secretly carry a clandestine relationship under the context of a Spain in the last years of the Franco regime entering the beginning of the transition, trying to overcome the "pending subject" that they left in their relationship: never having had sexual relations because of the strict moral of the Spain of the 50.
