Whistle

In a school marked by tensions, rivalries, and students who never quite fit in, the arrival of a new student triggers a series of unsettling events. What begins as a simple school punishment turns into the discovery of a strange ancient artifact: a mysterious whistle with a macabre shape whose origin dates back to ancient Mesoamerican cultures.

When someone decides to blow it out of curiosity, the group discovers too late that the object is cursed. The terrifying sound of the whistle not only breaks the silence of the classroom: it also . Soon, disturbing visions and inexplicable presences begin to appear, as if their own future deaths had been summoned to haunt them.

As fear and distrust take hold of the group, the young people must investigate the origin of the artifact and understand the legend surrounding it before it's too late. But every attempt to stop the curse seems to bring them closer to an inevitable fate, where time runs against them and the sound of the whistle could mean the end.

Directed by Corin Hardy and written by Owen Egerton, the film combines supernatural horror with a youth story marked by tension and mystery. The cast is led by Dafne Keen and Sophie Nélisse, accompanied by Nick Frost and Percy Hynes White, in a tale where curiosity and recklessness unleash an unstoppable nightmare.
