The Wolf and the Lion

'The Wolf and the Lion' is directed by Gilles de Maistre, director of the successful family film 'Mia and the White Lion', the French filmmaker returns with a feature film that once again seeks communion between humans and animals with 'The Wolf and the Lion', a contemporary fable that narrates an unlikely friendship, a miracle within the sad reality caused by the hand of man.

When her grandfather dies, Alma, a 20-year-old pianist, must return to her old childhood home, located on an island in the forests of Canada. The loss of her grandfather is yet another tragedy for the young woman, as she was orphaned after a traffic accident in which her parents died. Alone in the world, she also faces a vocational dilemma, as she wants to join the Los Angeles Symphony Orchestra and that means a lot of preparation. Determined to be a famous pianist, her life will take a turn in that return to the past.

Alma herself witnesses a plane crash and she rescues a lion baby that was taken away to be raised in a circus. At the same time, a female wolf and her baby take refuge in her childhood home, as they are sought after by conservation scientists. When mother wolf is captured, Alma will have to take care of the two cubs alone, which will form an unexpected bond, since they both consider each other brothers. The problem will come when the wolf and the lion grow up and the secret is discovered, which will cause them to be separated. However, their bond is so strong that both will find a way to meet again and return to that forest that they consider their home.
