Wrong No. 2

'Wrong No. 2' is the sequel to the 2015 film 'Wrong No.', directed by Yasir Nawaz.

Gul Nawaz (Javed Sheikh, 'Na Maloom Afraad') is an arrogant and wealthy businessman with huge intolerance for the poor, whose ambitions for the future are firmly focused on politics. To achieve his aspirations, he decides to attempt to betroth his daughter, Zoya (Neelam Muneer, 'Dil Mom Ka Diya') to the son of the highly influential Chaudhry Sahab.

Zoya is an intelligent young woman with a mind of her own who regularly rebels against her father's strict ruling, especially when he insists that she spent more time with Sahab's son whilst she harbours feelings of her own for Omar (Sami Khan, 'Gumm'), a man from a lower middle-class background. Gul Nawaz hires detectives to find the man his daughter is dating only for them to find the wrong man and give the bribe money to Mehboob (Yasir Nawaz in a directorial cameo, 'Impeccable Aka Masoom'), a middle-aged man trying to finance his daughter's heart surgery who interprets the cash as a sign of God and takes it. The sequence of misunderstandings, as well as a particularly persistent stalker of Zoya's, throws a serious spanner in the works of Gul Nawaz's plans in this Urdu-language romantic comedy directed by Yasir Nawaz.
