When Anna Faris and Chris Pratt announced their separation in August 2017 after nine years of marriage, it was more than just a few of us who were left heartbroken and with our faith in true love irrevocably shattered. However, after so many years together and a son to think of, this cannot have been a decision that was taken lightly. It seems that they have both begun a new chapter in their lives, finding love once again.
Thanks to the prying eyes of the paparazzi, we already knew that only shortly after his separation from Faris, Pratt began a new relationship with Arnold Schwarzenegger's daughter, Katherine. The relationship between the 39 year-old actor and the 29 year-old writer began last summer, after having been introduced by Schwarzenegger's mother, Maria Shiver, and after less than a year, the couple have already announced their engagement.
Just today, via a post on Instagram, Pratt declared his love for his new fiancée, sharing the news with his fans. It was only on Friday that Schwarzenegger moved into Pratt's house, and a source close to the pair reportedly told People that, despite the rapid pace of this relationship, "They're both serious [...] and hopeful for the future."
One Big Happy Family
Although both Chris Pratt and Anna Faris have moved on with their lives and found love elsewhere, the ex-partners have maintained a close relationship after their divorce in November. The pair continue to live less than 10 kilometres from each other in order to be able to bring up their six-year-old son, Jack, together. It seems that the relationship remains amicable, as both Pratt and Faris were spotted with their respective new partners taking Jack out for Trick-or-Treating on Halloween. Despite the sad news of their separation, it is heartwarming to see that both Pratt and Faris have moved on with their love-lives while maintaining a civil relationship for the wellbeing of their little son.
