Does the New Sabrina Look Like This Actress' Doppelganger?

Netflix have just released what has been one of the most highly anticipated seasons of the year, 'The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina', which is a very different version of the 90s sitcom fantasy starring Melissa Joan Hart, 'Sabrina the Teenage Witch'. In this case the role of the young witch is taken by Kiernan Shipka ('Mad Men'), and fans have spotted a chilling likeness between her and Emma Watson, as if she were a "millennial version of Hermione".

I'm giving this new Sabrina series a try on Netflix. So far it's pretty good.

Except I can't shake the thought that she has a real look of Emma Watson going on. I'm just waiting for Harry and Ron to appear at any second ?

Many of the fans who have started to watch the show cannot help but finding in the young with a distinct likeness to the 'Harry Potter' actress. It is a similarity which, according to some, goes beyond physical appearance, including gestures, mannerisms and a very similar feminist witch character. While it is true that binge-watching sometimes has some rather unwanted side effects on your vision, the sheer number of people on social media who are commenting on this similarity surely goes to show something.

Combining the style of a regular teen show, such as 'Riverdale' and 'Glee', with a very distinct element of horror, the production has achieved a great reception both from critics and of course from the public. It is difficult to quite reach the iconic level that it's predecessor achieved, but 'The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina' is becoming all the rage among teenagers, who are eager to see something different and innovative.

Different Actress, Same Face, Same Voice

As well as looking extremely similar similar to Watson, the actress who provides the voice-over for Shipka's character in the Spanish translation, Laura Pastor, also lent her voice to the 'Harry Potter' franchise, voicing the character of Hermione. The links between the two actresses (and their characters) seem to be endless. But can you see a clear likeness too?
