'Dungeons and Dragons' in one of the world's most famous role-play games and has fans across the globe. In the first season of 'Stranger Things' we saw how the kids of the series enjoyed playing this boardgame whilst fearing the dangerous Demogorgon. Years ago, this type of game was associated with shy, antisocial people with little to no aptitude for sports.

Now, however, things have changed. People are breaking stereotypes more frequently and don't hesitate to enjoy games as fun and with as many possibilities as Dungeons and Dragons. Even so, it seems that there remain some people who are living in the past, and a new superhero has emerged to shut the traps of anyone who tries to keep it that way.

Joe Manganiello isn't ashamed of his love for Dungeons and Dragons

It all began with a tweet published by famous AEW fighter Maxwell Jacob Friedman, who captioned a photo in which he showed off his muscles with "I don't play Dungeons and Dragons". This caught the attention of actor Joe Manganiello, known for his role in 'Magic Mike', who responded to Friedman by publishing an image of his 'Muscle & Fitness' cover photo with the message: "I do". To prevent things descending into an exchange of blows, the producer Adam Lance Garcia interviewed, jokingly referring to Manganiello's burn as a murder.

Future projects

When the 'How I Met Your Mother' actor isn't fighting Twitter villains, Manganiello is preparing for the 'Deathstroke' film, a flick following one of the most famous villains of the DC universe. "I can only say that we're working on it because that's what's going on and, honestly, I can't say anymore. I can only say, for the sake of the staunchest fans, that the film is in motion," he declared at Comic Con after rumours that the project had been cancelled. Until then, Manganiello can currently be found filming 'The Sleepover', a film directed by Trish Sie.
