Saga Halloween
A set of american horror movies which explores the slasher genre. The first film was co-written and directed in 1978 by John Carpenter and starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Donald Pleasence. Considered one of the best titles in the history of horror cinema (its recognizable music was composed by the director) this classic marked the start of a franchise centered on a killer with serious social difficulties called Michael Myers. Myers is characterized by hiding his face behind a white mask and carry a kitchen knife. The saga includes, so far, ten films, with fairly mixed results and possibility of opening new frontiers in this peculiar and scary universe. Some of the directors who have been behind the scenes to portray victims and dark desires of this enigmatic psychopath are Rick Rosenthal, Tommy Lee Wallace, Dwight H. Little, or Rob Zombie.
