Criminal Minds

'Criminal Minds' is an American TV series created by Jeff Davis and produced by CBS Television Studios, to be aired by the CBS network.

Jason Gideon and Aaron Hotchner are the special agents who lead the Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) in Quantico (Virginia), which the FBI turns to when traditional methods prove ineffective. 

The team is responsible for delving into the minds of the most dangerous criminals to anticipate their movements. They study and create psychological profiles of the most significant and notorious criminals in the United States to arrest them and prevent them from continuing to kill.

This team consists of Elle Greenway, a specialist in sexual offenses; Derek Morgan, an expert in obsessive crimes; Spencer Reid, with a brilliant IQ that makes him misunderstood and not very skilled in social relationships; and finally Jennifer "JJ" Jareau, the rookie who must learn her specialty to help capture the relentless killers. 

The impact of 'Criminal Minds' was notable within the police series of the time. It provided a new perspective on stories, shifting the action, chases, and blood to a psychological analysis of crime.

The series premiered in 2005 and continued airing for fifteen seasons on CBS. From the sixteenth season to the eighteenth, its episodes are grouped into a continuation of the original series called 'Criminal Minds: Evolution'.

Thanks to 'Criminal Minds', the concept of "profiling" became popular in the narrative of police series. Additionally, its combination of tension, psychological depth, and extensive character development allowed it to accumulate a loyal audience for over a decade and become a benchmark in television thrillers.

The main cast includes Mandy Patinkin (Jason Gideon), Thomas Gibson (Aaron Hotchner), Lola Glaudini (Elle Greenway), Shemar Moore (Derek Morgan), Matthew Gray Gubler (Spencer Reid), and A.J. Cook as (Jennifer Jareau).
