Gym Tony

'Gym Tony' is a comedy centered around the neighborhood gym of the same name, Gym Tony, about its owner, instructors, and of course, clients.

The series was produced by Mediaset España in collaboration with La Competencia Producciones and aired between 2014 and 2016. Throughout its broadcasts, it had five seasons and over 200 episodes, becoming one of the network's daily comedy bets. 

Its format of short episodes and humor based on extravagant characters and absurd situations allowed it to connect with the usual audience of daytime television, in addition to generating a small phenomenon among fans of Spanish comedy. 

The cast was led by Iván Massagué as the charismatic and lazy Tony, accompanied by actors such as Mar Abascal, Santi Rodríguez, David Amor, Miriam Cabeza, Tomás Pozzi, Adrián Lastra, and Norma Ruiz, among others.

From the gym owner, Tony himself, a character with little desire to work and a lot of desire to make money, to clients obsessed with sports and those who are signed up for the gym just to hang out and talk with the rest of the companions, without ever lifting a weight in all the seasons of the series. 

The comings and goings of these characters guide the comedy, which has undergone several cast and airing changes throughout the seasons.

The series is created by Javier Veiga and stars Iván Massagué, Mar Abascal, Santi Rodríguez, David Amor, Miriam Cabeza, and Tomás Pozzi, among others.
