Kim Possible

‘Kim Possible’ is an American animated series produced by Bob Schooley and Mark McCorkle for Disney Channel, with the collaboration of Walt Disney Television Animation. 

The series originally aired between 2002 and 2007, spanning 4 seasons and a total of 87 episodes, in addition to several specials and television movies such as “Kim Possible: A Sitch in Time” and “Kim Possible Movie: So the Drama.”

Kim Possible is apparently a normal girl. She studies in high school and is a cheerleader. However, she is actually an agent who works as a spy to fight crime.

She is accompanied by her best friend, Ron, who is somewhat clumsy and fearful; Rufus, Ron's pet naked mole rat; and Wade, a ten-year-old boy who is a computer prodigy and helps them from a distance. Together they form Team Possible, whose goal is to maintain peace and security in the world. 

Without a secret identity, Kim Possible is also known at school as an agent, but her classmates and teachers do not recognize her merits. Her parents, who support their daughter being an agent, only require that she does not come home late and does her homework. 

She will not have it easy, as she will encounter several enemies. Among them is her greatest enemy, Doctor Drakken, a quirky scientist who seeks to dominate the world. Drakken is not alone; he has Shego as his assistant, a woman who has the ability to generate powerful energy explosions and control them with her hands. 

If being a teenager is already difficult, Kim will have to balance being a spy and being a student.

The impact of ‘Kim Possible’ was very significant on Disney Channel and early 2000s animation. It became an icon of youth television for its focus on a strong and empowered female protagonist, its humor, creativity, and adventures filled with gadgets and action. 

The series received several nominations for awards such as the Daytime Emmy and established its main voice actors, especially Christy Carlson Romano, as references in children's and youth entertainment.
