Barry Allen's father, Henry Allen is played by John Wesley Shipp who played Barry Allen in Flash, el relámpago humano (1990).
Mark Hamill has played all on-screen versions of James Jesse/The Trickster including the 1990 TV series and La Liga de la Justicia (2001), as well as this one. His costume from the original series was also shown in his latest incarnation during the episode "Tricksters".
The mural at the Central City police department features references to both the Flash and Arrow. Two figures included in the mural are Hermes (or Mercury) and Apollo. The Hermes figure wears the winged helmet that was adopted by the Golden Age version of the Flash, while Apollo is depicted as an archer, similar to Oliver Queen's Arrow.
