Sinopsis
'Rebelde Way' was a famous Argentine telenovela aired between 2002 and 2003 that tells the story of a group of students from a prestigious international private boarding school, the Elite Way School. Some of the students come from wealthy families, while others are on scholarships, creating an atmosphere of discrimination.
The story mainly follows four kids with very different personalities and backgrounds, Marizza Pía Spirito, Mía Colucci, Manuel Aguirre, and Pablo Bustamante. Despite their differences and the fights that sometimes occur, they manage to form a band in secret over one thing they have in common: their love for music. They form a musical band called Erreway, which becomes a space for expression and rebellion against the impositions of the adult world.
The protagonists of the fiction face typical adolescent problems such as friendship, love, identity, and family pressure, while dealing with a rigid educational system. One of the central themes is the struggle against the “Rebels’ Group”, a secret society that sabotages the students.
'Rebelde Way' was created by Cris Morena and originally aired on Channel 9 in Argentina and has two seasons and 318 episodes, in addition to the movie 'Erreway: 4 caminos' (2004). The cast is led by Luisana Lopilato (Mía Colucci), Benjamín Rojas (Pablo Bustamante), Camila Bordonaba (Marizza Pía Spirito), and Felipe Colombo (Manuel Aguirre).
