Superman & Lois

'Superman & Lois' is an American series of action, family drama that reinterprets the superhero from a more intimate and emotional perspective. 

It was developed by Todd Helbing and produced by Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television for the network The CW; the fiction is part of the so-called Arrowverse, although it soon acquired its own identity thanks to its more cinematic tone and its focus on the personal lives of its protagonists.

The story follows Clark Kent/Superman and Lois Lane, who, after years of saving the world and working as journalists in Metropolis, decide to move with their teenage children to Smallville, Clark's hometown. 

There, they try to lead a quieter life while facing the challenges of parenting, economic problems, adolescent conflicts, and new threats that endanger both their family and the planet. 

The series combines great action sequences with plots centered on mental health, identity, and the balance between everyday life and heroic responsibility.

The cast is led by Tyler Hoechlin as Clark Kent/Superman and Elizabeth Tulloch as Lois Lane.

The series had four seasons aired between 2021 and 2024, and established itself as one of the most notable productions of The CW in its final stage. 

It was well received by critics and audiences for its higher visual quality compared to other series in the DC television universe and for its more mature and human treatment of the character.

Its combination of spectacle, emotional drama, and contemporary view on family made it one of the most valued reinterpretations of the iconic superhero on television.
