The Little Murders of Agatha Christie

Despite being based on Agatha Christie's novels, TV series is set in France and not the United Kingdom, where the writer used to play a large part of her novels. In fact, the usual protagonists of her novels, Poirot and Miss Marple, are replaced by French detectives.

The first season is set in the decade of the 30's, while the second season is set between the decade of the 50's and the decade of the 60's.

Much of the novels have been located in Nord-Pas-de-Calais, the former region now belonging to Hauts-de-France, following the merger with the region of Picardy. A place located to the north of France, near the border with Belgium.
