Prime Video has confirmed that actress Sophie Turner (Game of Thrones, X-Men: Dark Phoenix) will play the iconic Lara Croft in the new Tomb Raider series produced by Amazon MGM Studios. Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag, Killing Eve) is the creator, writer, executive producer, and co-showrunner of the series, which begins filming on January 19. It is based on the legendary video game franchise that follows the adventures of the famous archaeologist Lara Croft.
