Director of Gone Girl and screenwriter of Gone Girl (David Fincher and Gillian Flynn) were attached to reboot the series for American television but David had trouble with HBO over the budget for the show. In the end, the show was cancelled and their is no word on whether or not HBO will tackle the TV-show idea again.

Wilson Wilson wears a patch over his right eye just like DC Comics Deathstroke, whose real name is Slade "Wilson".
