Amaya Villar Navascués

Amaya Villar Navascués has filmed in her documentary, 'With you, with you, and without me', the four love relationships that marked her path. In the documentary she covers the last 20 years, from her first fall in love when she was 18, to her current age of 38. Faced with the desire to be a mother, she writes an audiovisual letter to her future children. She thus takes us on a journey into her past that reveals the phases of love, the challenge of long-distance relationships and the clash between illusions and frustrations or guilt.

She previously participated in the script of Rosa Bernad's documentary, 'Monumental', released in 2020. It tells the story of seven people diagnosed with serious and long-lasting mental illness. Through the theater workshop in which they are, the photographic portraits that one of them decides to take, the relationships that little by little are established between them, their confessions, dreams and concerns.
