Biography
She moved from Pamplona to Madrid in 2020 to read art history. A year later she was shooting a film that would go to number one worldwide on Netflix's non English chart. Clara Huete Sánchez, who works as Clara Galle in tribute to her great grandfather, the photographer and artist José Galle, was born on 15 April 2002 and came to acting after years of splitting her time between drama classes, contemporary dance and rhythmic gymnastics.
Growing up in Pamplona, she took the performing arts route through sixth form at the Plaza de la Cruz school and spent time in the youth theatre groups at the city's Gayarre. Before anyone knew her as an actress she was already modelling for various brands, and in October 2021 she appeared in the video for Sebastián Yatra's 'Tacones rojos'.
The trilogy that changed everything
Her first substantial part came in 2022 with 'El Internado: Las Cumbres', joining the second season as Eva Merino, a pupil with an addiction problem. What made her a name, though, was 'Through My Window', released the same year.
The film adapts Ariana Godoy's novel, already a Wattpad phenomenon, and was directed by Marçal Forés. Galle plays Raquel Mendoza, who has spent half her life watching the boy next door, Ares Hidalgo, through her bedroom window. Julio Peña plays him.
Two sequels followed, 'A través del mar' (2023), released internationally as 'Through My Window: Across the Sea', and 'Through My Window: Looking at You' (2024), both again directed by Forés. All three did the same numbers, and they turned Galle and Peña into two of the most recognisable faces Spanish teen cinema has exported in years.
From the boarding school to the training centre
With the trilogy still running she started moving towards rougher material. In 2024 she was Greta, the best friend of the lead, in 'Raising Voices', the Netflix series about bullying and sexual assault at a Madrid school, adapted from Miguel Sáez Carral's novel and headed by Nicole Wallace. That December she turned up as Alba in the third and final season of the Max thriller 'The Head'.
June 2025 brought 'Olympo', with Forés once more among the directors. She's Amaia, captain of the national artistic swimming squad at a high performance centre in the Pyrenees where nobody is quite sure how far they're prepared to go. Netflix cancelled it after one season.
Her most recent job is 'That Night', which landed on 13 March 2026. It adapts the novel by British writer Gillian McAllister and relocates it to the Dominican Republic: Galle is Elena, who runs a man over and asks her two sisters, played by Claudia Salas and Paula Usero, to help her cover it up. A good chunk of it was shot back home, in Gipuzkoa and Navarre.
Off set
She met the actor Nuno Gallego filming 'Olympo' in 2024, and since early 2025 they've stopped hiding it. They've discussed the relationship on television and they live together in Madrid, though she tends to shut the subject down when interviewers push.
On other things she's far less guarded. At the San Sebastián film festival in September 2025, with pro Palestinian protests gathered outside, she stopped in front of the microphones on the red carpet and spoke plainly about Gaza, a watermelon sticker on her arm. The clip went everywhere.
At twenty four she has a hit trilogy, four series and a fairly obvious direction of travel: each new role sits a little further from the teen romance that made her famous.
