Himesh Patel is a british actor and writer who has participated in 'EastEnders: E20' (2010), 'Eastenders' (1985) and 'My Pure Land' (2017). In 2017, he became the tenth longest serving actor in 'EastEnders' tv series because he had been in the role of Tamwan Masood for nine years. In 2019 he will star in 'Yesterday' (Danny Boyle) as the male protagnist. It will be his first lead role, as he had only done small roles so far.
