Biography
Lawyer and filmmaker to an Irish mother and Scottish father, although he borned in Calcutta (India). He worked nine times with Ken Loach, written eight film screenplays. He wrote Spanish film scripts as 'Even the Rain', 'Kathmandu Lullaby', 'Cargo' and 'The Olive Tree'. Nominated to multitude awards, in which 2012 Bafta award stand out for 'The Angels' Share'. He's partner is actress and director Icíar Bollaín.
