The popular actor will jump back into the skin of Dusty Morgan for the sequel of 'Daddy's Home' which will be released in late 2017. On top of this, the American will also return to his well known role as Cade Yeager in 'Transformers: The Last Knight', set to be released in the summer of 2017.

Wahlberg, throughout his career, has presented us with a number of memorable characters from his films. However, he could have given us even more memories if he didn't turn down the offers of other big roles in the industry. For example, he turned down the role that Matt Damon would go on to occupy in 'Ocean's Eleven'. Another role he turned down was the role of Jack Twist in 'Brokeback Mountain' which was eventually taken on by Jake Gyllenahaal.

Do you remember the band New Kids on the Block? Well, Wahlberg was one of the original members of the band. However, he decided to leave the group before the group had their big break in the industry. Nevertheless, his brother, Donnie Wahlberg continued with on with the band and reaped the rewards in the music industry, just like his brother has in the cinema and television business.

The actors teenage years were not like that of the normal teen. Wahlberg left school at the age of 13, was a drug dealer as a young teenager and was in constant trouble with the law. In fact, he was briefly sent to prison in 1998 for two incidents, one of which involved him attacking and permanently blinding a man in one eye.

In fact, the actor has had a television series loosely based on his past exploits which was inspired by his arrival in Hollywood in the 1990s. The series, 'Entourage', had success in 2004 and since then its own movie was released in 2015 under the same name, 'Entourage'.

Mark Wahlberg had a very close call back in 2001 when the 9/11 attacks occurred. The actor, along with his friends, were meant to be on Flight 93 which eventually crashed in to the twin towers. However, they decided last minute to travel to Toronto instead for a film festival. A close call to say the least, and the actor admits he still has nightmares about what would have happened if he had stepped foot on the plane that day.

6 Third nipple

Although you may have to zoom in on photos to see what it actually is, it has been confirmed by the actor himself that he has a third nipple. Despite the fact that in many modeling adverts and pictures the trusty third nipple doesn't appear due to sneaky editors cutting it out, the actor said he has grown to it. Wahlberg admitted "I've come to embrace it. That thing's my prized possession."

7 Bye bye, Bob Marley!

Wahlberg used to sport his own Bob Marley tattoo on his shoulder when he was younger. However, since then, he decided to have it removed. The reason behind the removal was because he wanted to deter his own children from getting a tattoo. Wahlberg, who has four children, revealed the he took his two eldest children along to watch him get it removed to show them them the painful process of tattoos.
