A Dog's Way Home

'A Dog's Way Home' begins in the city of Denver, Colorado, where a pit bull puppy named Bella is forgotten when animal control evacuates her makeshift family of puppies and kittens from an abandoned warehouse. When walking through a local neigbourhood, Bella finds her way into the home and heart of a young man named Lucas, a young boy with a habit of feeding and caring for the local strays, and the two of them bond over adorable games such as fetch, chasing squirrels and Lucas' favorite game: "Don't-chew-shoes". However, over the years Lucas starts to grow up and make decisions that largely separate him from Bella, until the once inseparable pair are far too distant for Bella's liking. To tackle this, Bella decides to embark on an epic journey spanning more than 400 miles from New Mexico to reunite with her owner, spreading joy and friendship along the way, in her quest to find her way back to her heart's true home.

This family friendly-adventure is based on the novel by W. Bruce Cameron, 'A Dog's Way Home', and directed by the filmmaker behind 'Dolphin Tale' and 'Dolphin Tale 2', Charles Martin Smith. Bryce Dallas Howard provides the voice of Bella and is joined by cast members Ashley Judd, Jonah Hauer-King, Edward James Olmos and Alexandra Shipp.
