A World Apart

After four decades of teaching in Rome, Michele is transferred to a small rural school within the Abruzzo National Park. With the support of the deputy director Agnese and his students, he quickly adapts to the community. However, when everything seems to be going smoothly, he receives the news that the school will close in June due to a lack of students. From that moment on, he begins a race against time to prevent the school from closing.

Italian filmmaker Riccardo Milani ('Like a Fish Out of Water') directs this touching comedy set in the school environment, starring Antonio Albanese ('Mom or Dad') and Virginia Raffaele ('Romanzo criminale').
