After the End

Daughter of an Andalusian bookseller father who taught her to read, Gloria receives an education centered around a love for culture. Over the years, this love eventually transforms her into a popular art gallery owner, writer, painter, and currently, an actress in Argentina.

To make this film, Pablo César (director) has drawn inspiration from the life of Luz Castillo (lead actress) to tell Gloria's story. From that paternal education, through the early passing of her mother, to the love story with her husband, who decides to distance himself from her and move to another country after being together since adolescence. The film also depicts the birth of her children, the farewells of some beloved series, and the multiple occasions when attempts were made to abuse her, as well as the moments when her health was most fragile. It is over the years that Gloria begins to receive the recognition she so richly deserves. Transformed into a popular gallery owner, writer, painter, and lover of philosophy, Luz Castillo faces the challenge of acting, taking on a role that could not be closer to her.

Joining Luz Castillo in the cast are Héctor Bidonde, Alejandro Botto, and Lisandro Carret.
