Alimañas

'Alimañas' is a black comedy about a family that is eagerly awaiting the death of an elderly woman, mother of Carlos and Paco, so they can inherit a building that is on their property.

The story begins with an emergency call from one of the heirs to report that the mother had already died. Everyone quickly goes to meet them but their crazy happiness ends when they discover that the woman is still alive. All their plans will fall apart. The weakened woman continues fighting for her life while her evil family will find a way to make their wishes come true.

The idea of improving their present and getting out of the precarious economic situation will drive the characters crazy and they will do everything possible to advance the event. The brothers, who have nothing to do with each other, are played by the actors Carlos Areces and Jordi Sánchez, and their contempt for their mother comes from the constant rejection that their mother gave them. She made unpleasant comments to them.

According to them, the woman has never loved them that is why they want to take advantage of this opportunity to get something from her. Euthanasia, vandalism, police, are words that will accompany the characters in their crazy ideas to put an end to the poor woman.
