A community of neighbors in a building in downtown Madrid gathers to vote on changing the elevator. However, a new tenant with mental health issues intends to rent the apartment of one of the owners. Something that no one expected and that will turn the story of these neighbors around.

'Votemos' is a film directed by Santiago Requejo that is based on the short film 'Votamos' and the play that reflects on mental health issues and prejudices.

Requejo invites the viewer to reflect on each person's empathy and tolerance towards those with mental health problems. A question thrown into the air that will guide the story of this film.
