One day, Elli finds out that her mother Marlène has left her for a man she just met in another excess night. Elli must learn by herself to confront all her mother's fears in order to get her back. This is a story about a child's dependence on her mother, the lack of love and the feeling of uneasiness. Elli is a child that finds herself alone in the world, and that feeling makes her realize the dangers that alcohol and drugs bring to people's lives. A film that talks about love and all the feeling that share its absence. But it is also a movie about re-born, because, despite all the challenges she must endure, Elli is able to resist them and give a testimony of how she was able to grow by herself.
