Arco

''Arco'' is an animated film directed by Ugo Bienvenu.

The film blends science fiction with adventure, emotion, and reflection in its 82-minute runtime, through a journey that transcends the boundaries of time as we know it.

It is the year 2932. Arco is a ten-year-old boy living in a peaceful and technologically advanced future society. Arco is thrilled to experience his first flight in a special rainbow-colored suit that allows him to travel through time.

However, his excitement blinds him, and he ends up disobeying the rules. He activates the technology, and something goes wrong. What was initially meant to be a journey through the age of dinosaurs ends up landing him in the year 2075. Less than a thousand years have passed, but the world around him is so different from his own.

There he meets Iris, a girl his own age who is curious, intelligent, and sensitive. She notices Arco falling from the sky and, with determination and courage, decides to take him in and help him return to the future.

Throughout the story, they face dangers, social awkwardness, and adults who don't understand their situation. This only strengthens their bond, as it's them against the rest of the population. They combine their ingenuity and strength and protect each other. The film portrays the evolution of their adventure through reflective passages about hope, friendship, and the impact of our actions on the world we live in.
