Au nom de ma fille

Set in the 80s, this movie tells the story of André Bamberski, a man who is separated from his wife. During the holidays he gets to know about the unexpected death of his daughter fourteen-year-old Kalinka. The girl was spending the holidays in Germany with her mother and her step-father, the doctor Krombach. The lead character will try to look for an explanation to the fact, because the circumstances of the death were strange. As a consequence, he starts an investigation in order to discover the guilty. This searching for answers will last 27 years.

This French drama which is directed by Vincent Garenq, is based in real facts. The cast of 'Au nom de ma fille' is formed by Daniel Auteuil, Sebastian Koch, Marie-Josée Croze, Audrey Quoturi and Johannes Oliver Hamm.
