'Barry' is a first biopic about Barack Obama's life. Nowadays we know him for being president of the United States, but a few years ago he was a student situated on other times. Devon Terrell plays Obama as a young man, who tries to fit with the rest of white students and find himself. Richard Linklater's 'Boyhood' star, Ellar Coltrane completes the cast with Anya Taylor-Joy, Jason Mitchell, Jenna Elfman and Linus Roache. The film, directed by Vikram Gandhi, will arrive via streaming on December 16 by Netflix. The drama was nominated for the Independent Spirit Award for Adam Mansbach's Best Screenplay, known for 'Wake the Fuck Up'.
