Belmonte

This comedy drama is about the lonely artist, Belmonte, who paints a variety beautiful works of art, such as landscapes, portraits, naked bodies, fantasy imaginations, and underwater scenes. His paintings express the attraction he feels towards human bodies and are extremely beautiful, but also display a profound loneliness.

He has recently divorce his wife and is struggling with the new separation and with the news that she has recently fallen pregnant by another man. His daughter, Collette, is the only light in his life and he feels lost without her. He has to negotiate with his ex-wife in order to get the days with her than he desires. The film paints the portrait of a man in crisis as a father, and the strength of his daughter throughout.
