Loveling

Irene is a 38 years-old woman married to 45 years-old Klaus. They live in a small city on the outskirts of Rio de Janeiro called Petrópolis alongside their four children: Fernando (16), Rodrigo (10) and the twins (5). The couple has been struggling for years to finish building their new house. While she works as an independent seller at the same time she's finishing her studies to get her high-school diploma, Klaus runs a small copy shop and bookstore. The eldest son, Fernando, plays handball, and after being the highlight of the season he is invited to join a professional team in Germany and will leave his parents house much sooner than expected. Irene now has to deal with the everyday issues of their family's life as well as the early separation from Fernando and adapting to a new life without him.
