Through the documentary 'Between Land and Sea', the filmmaker Ross Whistaker introduces the audience to the Irish town of Lahinch, a surf community that counts with one of the most appealing things to the sport enthusiastics due to it has one of the best big-wave breaks spots in Europe. Thanks to the film we are able to witness a year in the life of this community: in the weeks when the town comes to life with visitors who dare to ride the waves as well as the times in which the surf schools close up due to the bad weather and the lack of demand. The documentary has been stunningly shot and filmed and it gives testimony of the way of life of one of the most unknown Europe spots to most people.
