Plot
Jack Burton (Kurt Russell) is a lorry driver in the city of San Francisco. One day in the Chinese part of town of the city he wins a big sum of money off Wang Chi (Dennis Dun). The man promises to give him his money but only if he goes and picks up is fiance, Miao Yin, from the airport. He agrees to this but when he gets to the airport the girl is kidnapped by Chinese gangsters. Jack will decide to save the girl but that will mean going inside the dangerous world of Lo Pan, a 2000 year old magician who governs the world of spirits. He will have to fight against demons and strange threats in his race to save the girl before it's too late.
